Tillamook County DA publicly reprimanded for not handing evidence over to defense

The Oregon State Bar “publicly reprimanded” Tillamook County District Attorney Bill Porter this week for failing to turn over evidence to a defense attorney who represented an aggravated murder defendant.
The evidence might have helped defendant Ronald Lunsford better prepare his defense for trial in the killing of Chris Brusman in January 2010, an Oregon State Bar investigation found. Brusman was living on Lunsford’s Garibaldi-area property in a travel trailer, which is where the killing took place.
